Characters : Zaha and Shiru
Backdrop ~blue-marine's request for the ACK project : "Well, I was thinking of a scene featuring Zaha still as good angel, but on the verge of turning evil, still calm because he's lying and his head is resting on Shiru's lap. His right hand is on his chest and Shiru holds his face with both of her hands. They both have somewhat serene smiles on their faces."
I guess this kinda makes the scene an AU, where Shiru arrived before the transformation was complete and managed to explain everything and had backup to chase off Reda. I A temporary happy ending, cause a few years later, Reda successfully destroyed the world. No demon!Zaha = dead heroes = bye bye universe.
I took some liberties with the "on the verge" part, since his old clothes vanished right at that point. Didn't exactly feel like drawing him nekkid, so let's just say they were in the middle of dissolving. Also, his wings are still on cause it wouldn't make much sense for Shiru to turn him onto his back when his flesh's flayed off.

I love how you depicted such a strong emotional bond between them. Your serene expressions are really well captured and the emotion it evokes is contrasted strongly with the pained feeling I get from Zaha's broken wings.
