Character Ahiru (Princess Tutu)Character Odygos
Description
Sources - Princess Tutu and the Alien franchise, with a little Rokumon thrown in.
Characters - To the left, Princess Tutu from the anime of the same name. To the right, Odygos, a fancharacter I have in the AvP franchise. Down in the middle, Jahne from MCK.
Background - If my gallery didn't say so already, my interests tend to be either monstrous or whimsical. Always was a bit of a problem for inspiration, but even my most childfriendly, sparkly fandom had a grim side. Up until MLP anyway. Nothing ruins your inspiration for drawing a yautja like a sudden urge to go watch cute brightly colored ponies.
In an attempt to bridge the inspirational dissonance, I started doodling several images that put cutesy characters with Aliens, which surprisingly worked for productivity.
Jahneis there cause of some inspiration convo long ago, forgot most of it except something about dancing hamsters and dadaism, plus the Six Gates franchise is a sort of middle group between sparkly things and gory things, having both. So it fit as common ground here.
For anyone wondering, no, the alien is not going to kill her. Odygos is sooner curious and crazy than violent, and Ahiru's willing to listen to anyone.
