Artist's Comments

For an art trade from loooong ago with *rachaelm5, her seventh Jazz dragon.

Was one of those pictures that didn't work out no matter what I tried (me + really bright colors = not a good team apparently), so in the end I tried line-art instead and well, this came out.

I could never say no to psychadelia... And certainly not to your marvelous interpretation of my stripy beasties. Wonderfully rendered! I particularly like the fact that you kept the subtle colors of its wings from the original drawing. The dorsal spines going down its tail are also just beautiful. This was very much worth the wait, and thank you so much! :glomp:

Good. So good. I'm in a trance because of it's pretty-ness...

Interesting concept. It matches the title, that is for sure.

The incidental thingies floating about are very amusing. I do enjoy how the colors turned out as well.
